REPLACEMENT Steel Braided Hose for Transformers Shackwave Galactic Man Shockwave
This is the only replacement that I have found for the rotted plastic black hose for the Transformers G1 Shockwave, Shackwave, Galactic Man, Astro Magnum, etc... It is a stainless steel, silver, heavy duty, braided, hose, tube. It is somewhat flexible. The toy will need to be taken apart at the torso and arm where the original hose enters. You will need to unsolder the wire connections at the circuit board located in the torso. Remove the old hose. Sleeve the wires through the new hose. Re-solder the wire connections. The new hose will need to be adjusted/ finessed to fit into the torso and arm opening. Reassemble the toy. It is not easy!!! This is pretty much the only option I have found after 15 years of looking! The hose is cut to length as the original = 5.5".
