A monumental and exceptional antique spelter sculpture of a 17th Century Spanish soldier in armor with its original dark green and grey patina, it used to be holding a torch (probably a lamp post), the face is of gilt color, amazing details overall, the circular base has lions heads, unsigned, in almost mint condition, very rare for a statue that old, it was very well preserved, no breaks, no repairs, circa 1890-1900s

Dimensions are: 36.5 inches high x 9.5 inches diameter for the base
