Antique 18th/19th century wooden Chinoiserie Tea Caddy with original Pewter interior, used for tea transports to Europe.The box depicting painted Chinese characters in gardens in various scenes. Box opens to two pewter containers that are etched with flower designs. All supported on four griffon feet. In good antique condition with wear to the gilt especially in the top of the hinged cover.
