This strap is made of genuine lizard leather in “mouse” gray color, it is from the “sellier” collection. Handmade, the top of the range from the French leather goods manufacturer. The lizard
produces a rather fine leather but nevertheless has good resistance. It is a very supple leather and therefore pleasant to wear. We will favor watch models that are quite thin and/or light. Nowadays, this type of leather is most often worn on fine, elegant watches, but the exception proves the rule.
The advantage of lizard leather, apart from its own style, is its price. Indeed, lizard leather will cost, in most cases, cheaper than alligator leather. There are generally two families of lizards used in making bracelets: the teju and the java.
The one I propose to you is a Java, the Malaysian monitor lizard (Java) has very small scales similar in shape to those of the alligator. They are often round, if not oval, and not very regular. Natural pigmentation offers patterns, generally small circles.
This is the “sellier” collection, the top of the range from my manufacturer. A French factory, that is to say a company where we still manufacture, halfway between craftsmanship and industry. From leather selected for its beauty and quality, these artisans carefully and meticulously shape the leather straps that will adorn our watches.
ATTENTION !!!!! The watches that you can see in the photos are made to present the strap , to put it "in condition", they are not sold with the strap . I invite you to measure the width of your strap at the watch level before placing the order.
It fits all types of watches with pump lugs. Note that this strap is 19 mm at the level of the lugs of the watch, and 18 mm at the level of its buckle. It's a classic size that fits all wrist types thanks to its buckle and holes. The part on the hole side is 11.5 cm in total and the part on the buckle side is 7.5 cm without the buckle. Either you will have to compare it with your current strap , or you will have to add the dimension of your watch to imagine it on your wrist.
