On box -
PERFECT PICTURE PUZZLES JIGSAW TYPE, FULL OF FIGHT, INTERLOCKING, OVER 250 PIECES, A 13 12 X 10 PICTURE, NO.1410.

Unusual subject for this small vintage puzzle - 2 unhappy white with black cats or kittens that look like they are very serious about defending their home turf from an unknown intruder.  Marked in the bottom corner - Kodachrome by H.A. Bond.  The photo is sort of a muted matte finish.  As you can see on photos, it is complete with all pieces accounted for.

The box is readable, but the corners are split on one end, and there is a name written on the front.  There are some small dings on some nibs, but nothing major.

Probably from about the mid 1930's.  If you are not accustomed to these older style puzzles, in many such as this one, not all of the pieces truly interlock tightly like in many newer puzzles.  You don't want to start this one and then decide to move it as it will come apart easily.
