A two-year test done by a major East-coast Mass Transit Authority showed incredible reductions in maintenance and associated costs when MILITEC-1 was applied to their buses. During the first one-year test period, 20.1% of the non-MILITEC-1 control group had engine problems. During that same period, only 12.7% of the MILITEC-1 group had engine problems. During the second one-year test period, 25.4% of the control group had engine problems, while only 13.8% of the MILITEC-1 group had engine problems.
The Mass Transit Authority estimated that if they had used MILITEC-1 on all the buses in their system, it would have saved them approximately $920,000.00 in maintenance, engine replacement, and associated costs.
Firearms Application:
All gasoline and propane powered engines: Add 8 ounces for a 4 to 6 quart/liter engine oil crankcase capacity every 15,000 miles (24,000 KM). Always change oil at the manufacturer’s recommended oil change intervals.
Diesel engines: For the first 15,000 miles (24,000 KM) add 2 ounces per quart/liter of engine oil crankcase capacity. Thereafter, add only 1 ounce per quart/liter every 15,000 miles (24,000 KM). Always change oil at the manufacturer’s recommended oil change intervals.
Racing engines, older engines or other engines operating in extreme conditions: Add 2 ounces MILITEC-1 per quart/liter engine oil every 7500 miles (12,000 km).
Transmission (manual or automatic): Add 4 ounces every 30,000 miles (48,000 km).
Transfer case: Add 4 ounces every 30,000 miles (48,000 km).
Differentials: Add 2 ounces every 30,000 miles (48,000 km)
Power steering: Add 1 ounce every 30,000 miles (48,000 km).
Automotive air conditioning: Add ½ ounce when charging with refrigerant.
Cooling system (radiator): Add 1 or 2 ounces to coolant. Aids heat transfer and lubricates water pump.
Wheel bearings: First, coat metal surface with MILITEC-1 before packing. Then pack with MILITEC-1 Grease or other quality grease blended with 10% to 15% MILITEC-1.
Motorcycle common sump pumps: Add 1 ounce per each quart/liter of oil in sump.
Two-cycle: Add 2 ounces per each quart/liter of two-cycle oil.
Note:
If the equipment manufacturer specifies that you must avoid synthetic, parasynthetic or chlorinated lubricants, MILITEC-1 should NOT be used.
MILITEC-1 is NOT compatible with polycarbonate.
MILITEC-1 should NOT be added to brake fluid or similar fluids.

With Militec-1 Grease, the frequency of re-greasing can be reduced in most applications. Since the grease does not degrade as rapidly, it does not need to be replaced as frequently.
