A stunning and very rare antique French patinated bronze sculpture depicting the Venus de Milo after the famous ancient Greek white marble sculpture (130-100 BC) by Alexandros of Antioch located at the Louvres Museum in Paris, made by and incised at the base ‘’ L Richard, Eck and Durand F’’ foundry, with the seal of ‘’REDUCTION MECANIQUE Alle COLLAS – BREVETE’’ and a large seal with figurines on the front base, beautiful old brown patina, in excellent condition, some minor signs of verdigris \ green oxidation at the base, one tiny dent to the left side of the base, made in France between 1838 and 1844
