Giles Cartoons are always apt, to the point and very funny. This is a FACSIMILE of the 1953 and 1954 Annuals - Eighth Series, with cartoons from October 1st 1953 through to September 19th 1954. A wonderful snapshot of the news and events of the mid-1950s with a satirical interpretation.
In our household as I was growing up, the Giles annual was a must-have Christmas present, and enjoyed by everyone - so grab a bargain and transport yourself back to the 1950s - a brilliant stocking-filler present in December, or an amusing read throughout the year!
Condition: Very good - possible light reading wear and minor wear to the corners of the book as it has been inserted into the slip case. Minor marking / shelf wear / bumping to the edges of the slip case.
