Lavish full length 1960s gold lame caftan by Baba Salon de Couture of Paris and New York.

Fitted at the shoulders then flaring out through the bodice and all the way to the hem, with a wonderful swing back profile.

Fully lined throughout in ivory acetate, which is perfect bar a few light age spots, not visible when being worn.

The wide scooped neckline and the front pleat are trimmed with spectacular rosettes of beads and sequins, surrounded with tiny seed pearls and each centred with an iridescent crystal.

The gold lame is textured and bright with no scuffing, dullness or bare patches.

There are a couple of small patches of rust like discolouration, which are not very noticeable. They could possibly be lightened with specialist spot cleaning - something I have not attempted.

The rear zip runs smoothly and secures with a hook and eye.

Such a special garment - the epitome of 60s hippy glamour! Make me an offer and own a treasure.
