Electronic Push
Pull Electromagnetic Release Solenoid Release Assembly DC 12V Latch Lock
This is a
great quality ultra-compact electric solenoid. Solenoids are basically
electromagnets: they are made of a big coil of copper wire with an armature (a
slug of metal) in the middle. When the coil is energised, the slug is pulled
into the center of the coil.
It's basically an electronic lock, used widely
in banking ATMs, vending machines, electronic appliances, embroidery machines,
intelligent lock, juice & bread makers, textile machines, cash register or other
automatic control devices (please check the size). Normally the lock is active and
the slug is pushed out (as pictured). It does not use any power in this state.
When the current
is applied, the slug pulls in so it doesn't stick out anymore and the item can pulled
or opened. The end of the slug allows for a fixed connection to your device.
Instructions
1) Connect the one wire to positive and the other
wire to negative.
2) Turning the current on will pull the slug
in and turning it off will push the slug out
