For your consideration are two scarce and lovely Japanese jeweled floral enamel painted moriage saucers dating to the late 1800s or possibly a bit earlier.  Both hard paste porcelain saucers were hand painted with detailed floral sprays and then decorated with an overlay of colorful enamel paint in intricate patterns.  These saucers are unmarked and have slightly scalloped edges beneath the enamel overlay which can be seen in my photos. The saucers measure 5.5 inches in diameter and stand .75 inches tall.  

Both saucers are free of chips, cracks, or stains in the porcelain.  The overlay is missing in some very small areas and occasional cracks in the enamel paint can be observed.  There are slight discrepancies in the repetition of the pattern and the colors used in the overlay as each plate was decorated by hand and possibly a different artist.  It appears the artist(s) forgot to apply the overlay in a few places.

I don't profit from my shipping costs and will refund any shipping overpayment in excess of $1.00. I will not falsify customs forms or insurance claims.

By definition, an antique is an item at least 100 years old. Vintage and antique items may have flaws or wear commensurate with age and should never be assumed to be in new condition. I cannot guarantee that every item I offer for sale is from a smoke and/or pet free household.
