This framed and matted photograph of the Wordsworths Lodgings,  Hawkshead was sold at the Baker Bros. flagship store at 7th Street - Flower & Figueroa in downtown Los Angeles. It's a sepia snapshot of the Barker Bros mezzanine floor picture shop, caught on a cloudy day, giving it an ethereal air. The flower-bestrewn path leads to wonky stone steps, and into a doorway of delights! Wouldn't you just love to come home to this? Imagine fresh baked bread smell wafting from the windows, served hot with melted butter running down your chin! A picturesque setting that deserves some imaginative introspection! A vintage photo like this would suit almost any setting, depending on how it's styled. It would look perfect in a cottage core or grandmillenial living room, tucked into a modern home office, or in a modern office which could do with a little character. 

The frame measures 7.5" x 10.5" and the full text on the print reads C. Russell - Wordsworth's Lodgings Hawkshead. The back of the picture shows its age, with some of the paper peeling away.
