Covers the subject of book design from the earliest printed books through to the late 19th / early 20th century – a period exemplified by excellence in book illustration and design. Includes many hundreds of examples of illustration, bindings, title pages, frames and borders, lettering and other page decorations and ornaments. Each book, in PDF format, is a high resolution scan of the original pages so you will be reading exactly as intended.

This is a data CD for computer use only (requires CD-Rom drive). It WILL NOT WORK in an audio CD player or the DVD player connected to your TV.
