Set against a background of deep yellow, George Deem creates one of his thematic compilations featuring the Old Master Johannes Vermeer's "The Lacemaker" of 1669-1670. Placing the iconic image created by the famous artist in the background, Deem creates a similar female figure with a lace cap tied around her neck and a deep green dress cloaking her figure.
