Please message me for out-of-stock units as these can often be obtained ex-factory within 5 working days at no additional cost! Note, any item with ONE(1) in stock comes ex-factory (please message me if you require more than one). For a video of the RSP-3000-48... click here

Tried and tested high wattage power supplies from Meanwell, for home, industry, transport, railway, ITE, telecom etc. Contant current limiting, with 100-112% peak, makes it ideal for driving motors, lamps and highly capacitive devices (e.g LED drivers or DC-DC converters). The RSP-2400 and the RSP-3000 power supplies can be adjusted to 13.8V, 27.6V and 55.2V for battery replacement or battery charging applications! The Meanwell RSP-2400 and RSP-3000 have remote ON/OFF control, remote voltage control (20% to 120%), remote voltage sensing and a DC OK signal, plus active PFC (Power Factor Correction)+, constant current limiting* on overload and short circuit with automatic recovery. It also has over temperature and over voltage protection and a 5 year Australian warranty is provided. They also allow parallel operation for up to 3 units or 9000W max.

*constant current limiting is ideal for motor startup and other applications with high current, exceeding the maximum, at switch on. A simple wire link allows the power supply to shut down after 5 seconds of overload if preferred, it then requires recycling the power (switch it OFF and ON again) to restore operation.

Three output voltages are available the RSP-2400-12 = 12V@166A (12 x 166 = 2000W), RSP-2400-24 = 24V@100A and the RSP-2400-48 = 48V@50A. The RSP-3000-12 = 12V@200A (12 x 200 = 2400W), RSP-3000-24 = 24V@125A and the RSP-3000-48 = 48V@62.5A. These power supplies operate from 180 to 240VAC input, are fan cooled and provide an output voltage adjustable by -15% to +15%. Weight 3.3kg and 4kg respectively, size 278x178x64mm. The HRS 8 & 10 pin plugs (plus extra pins) are included with this unit. For data on the RSP-2400 or on the RSP-3000 see the pictures above (or use the QR code for the full spec sheet).

All Meanwell products have a 2 to 7 year warranty. MEAN WELL Enterprises Co., is a Taiwan based company started in 1982 with strong ties worldwide (some well-known companies re-badge their products) and they provide excellent support and backup. Meanwell is a TQM (Total Quality Management) company and is ISO9001 certified. In 2017, the 2-year return rate was 1 in 6600. Meanwell power supplies are extremely reliable in our experience with only one unit DOA (Dead On Arrival) that was replaced and three returned during the warranty period in the 10+ years we have been selling... one power supply had been installed in a control box outdoors (for advertising) and had been attacked by a nest of ants! Meanwell now offers a range of fully sealed units (IP65 and IP67 rated)... please ask us for advice for outdoor and hazardous environments. For a company video - click here.

Some "on-the-web" comments... 1."I have hundreds of 600 Watt 24V Meanwells running in the field and probably another 100+ 350 Watt 5V running in the field and they are the most reliable piece of equipment compared to everything else. I've -never- replaced one in over 11 years, but I have replaced a lot of cruddy circuit boards designed or assembled by the less technically inclined (companies).", 2. "But in the end I've learnt a lesson here and that is spend the extra cash and buy some quality power supplies like the meanwell brand or else you could be in for a very frustrating time but I don't have the budget for that this year so I'll have to deal with what I have (sad face)". 3. Need a decent power supply... I can recommend mean well supplies. They are low end industrial supplies but are good quality, much better than no-name chinese supplies you can get from ebay etc.. I use mean well in lots of equipment and have had very few failures in thousands of hours of run time.

We also provide a download (or CDROM on request) with the documentation in PDF format and other information on Meanwell products.

*a re-written user manual is provided (also in PDF format on CD-ROM) because we care that all products that we sell have clear and easily readable information and instructions with adequate warnings about any dangers or precautions that need to be taken! Beware of "fakes" and "look-a-likes" (with logos of "M&W", "MiWi", "WH", "WeHo", "WaW" for example) these are often cheap, low quality products that do not meet the safety requirements for use in Australia. Also beware of purchasing this product from overseas as an Australian Warranty will not be provided. This unit has exposed 240VAC terminals and must be installed inside a suitable enclosure according to local electrical authority regulations. +NOTE, any power supply above 150W that does not have POWER FACTOR CORRECTION most-likely does not meet C-TICK or EMI requirements for use, on 240VAC mains in Australia! DO NOT BUY such power supplies, including the Meanwell SE-1500 (even if offered on Ebay). You can generally tell if a high-wattage (> 150W) power supply does NOT have "active" PFC because it will have a switch to select 115VAC or 230VAC*. The advantage of "active" PFC is that not only is the AC mains current reduced (and of course "in phase" with voltage... something that power companies prefer), but the electrical interference (EMI) is reduced (less harmonics) BUT also it stablises the input allowing the AC voltage to vary greatly WITHOUT having to use a SWITCH which activates voltage doubling when the AC input is less than 180VAC. *in the case of the SE-1500 the AC input is limited to 220VAC to 240VAC.
