Listed for sale is an Antique Gilt Cast Iron Shelf Clock with a Gargoyle Base & a Winged Cherub at the Top. It stands 10" tall x 8" wide & 2" deep. The gilded or bronzed finish has darkened over the years. The clock runs & appears to keep time but may need adjusting after shipping. On the back it has the patent dates Oct 28, 1902, May 15, 1906 & Dec 15, 1908, but no makers name. There is no damage to the metal frame work, however the paper dial has some wear in addition to a portion missing around the 7:00 position. (picture 4).
