Being offered is a circa 1871 sterling silver ladle by Tiffany & Co. of New York, New York, in the incredible Japanese pattern, aesthetic meadow scene on the curved handle, bird rests on a branch surrounded by wildflowers. Dimensions: 10 3/4 inches x 3 1/2 inches. Marked as illustrated. No monogram. In excellent condition. 9 heavy ozs. Made originally as an oyster ladle, its 21st century use includes soup, chowder......all from a large bowl or pot.
