The lens is coated.

This lens modification is in black color. All it has is the F3.5-F11 aperture ring. It doesn't have a focusing ring. To shoot an object, you need to move yourself, either zooming in or moving the lens away from the object. In this case, great for macro photography. But if properly adjusted to the camera, then you get good portrait photos. With his art, I would emphasize the softness of the picture, which gives a retro style.

Industar-96U is a lens from a photographic enlarger, as evidenced by the letter “U” in the name. The lens is very, very similar to the Industar-50U 50mm F3.5

Lenses with an M39 mounting thread (for enlargers, M39 X 1 / 28.8), such as the lens from this review, are very easy to use on modern cameras, all you need to do is choose the right adapter. On SLR cameras, the lens can only work in macro mode (shoot small objects from a short focusing distance). On mirrorless cameras it will be possible to achieve focus at infinity.

Lenses are in good condition. The diaphragm is working. There are slightly visible dust particles inside. One bektiv comes with lids.
