DESCRIPTION: This is a beautiful Antique Masons England Hexigon 8 Inch Plate. Beautiful Imari colors with birds and flowers. It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or crazing. It has a cream background color. It has the old Masons Mark which is brown and reads: Mason's Patent Ironstone China, England. It measures 8 inches across. Weight is 317 grams unpacked. I don't know the pattern name of the plate as it is not printed on the back and I can't find this plate on Ebay anywhere. I looked up the back stamp in the British Registry of Pottery Marks and the only one that looks exactly like this stamp is dated as being used from 1813 to 1829. This will make an excellent addition to your Masons Plate collection and looks simply beautiful.
