A large and impressive German wine goblet dating to the early 18th century. It is soda glass construction with lots of small mineral inclusions and air bubbles you would expect for the period. Baluster stem with scale cut design. Bowl with various cuts including lenses, eclipses and scales. Very large foot with rough snapped pontil. Overall a good and impressive example in good order with no damage and very minor wear.  It measures 20cm (7 7/8") high,  8.7cm (3 3/8") diameter at the rim and 10.7cm (4 1/4") at the foot.        Please check out my Ebay Store for many other unique genuine antique items and similar.
