Ligustrum undulatum – Box leaved privet.  Ligustrum is a non invasive evergreen shrub
with attractive small glossy leaves. A great hedging subject, ligustrum
is a fast growing hedging solution that will give a fantastic medium
hedge.
Ideal hedging height of .5 – 3mtrs growing quickly, up to 1mtr/per year.
Frost and drought hardy, Full sun – Part shade.

This Privet Type is NOT a weed, it is a non invasive variety that does not grow any berries.  Some Governements do not allow privet but they are refering to the ones with berries eg chinese privet or common privet etc.  This variety is designed for the home garden.
