"I am not one to
usually write reviews. I just have to say that this thing really
impressed me. I have a building that has a small office in it, the
building is mostly concrete block and a small portion is steel sided and
heavily insulated. it is usually impossible to get a cell signal out of
this spot. A few hundred feet away I have a wireless router that is
inside another block building and this little antenna got through and
connected to that router. I really can’t explain how impressed I am with
this thing. Though I will add it is very important it is pointed
directly at the location you are connecting to. I went back a second day
to check my connection and it was not working much at all. I discovered
that it had worked its way down towards the ground, after locking the
tripod tighter in the direction of the router I was back in business. I
would highly recommend this to others. It is also super easy to
install."
Description:
Not all WiFi antennae are equal. Only top quality
components are used in this antenna. The PA (amplifier that determines
the signal link quality) stage and the high performance digital filter
are key differentiator.
Unlike
most Yagi antennae with long broom and numerous director elements, the
design of the NextG USB-Yagi aims at reducing the length of the overall
antenna whilst maintaining a wider RF aperture (visibility) to pick up
the WiFi signal nearby and afar, blending the best of both worlds. It is
also slim and light weight that you could carry it in a traveler bag.
 From
a technical standpoint, we use computer-aided-design to engineer the
BALUN, an important driving element for matching the overall antenna
impedance with the USB amplifier, and have them built precisely by CNC
and tuned for an ultimate performance.
You just need a bit of push with this high performance
antenna to get online that would otherwise be impossible.
