Czechs in the RAF - In Focus

A Photographic Album of the Czechoslovakians that went to war with the Royal Air Force during WWII

(Red Kite)

In the months following the outbreak of the Second World War, a steady stream of Czech airmen arrived in the UK determined to continue their fight against the Nazi regime that had seized their homeland.  Initially, they were absorbed into regular RAF units but by mid-1940 there were already enough of them to form dedicated Czech squadrons.

This book details those men, their aircraft and their outstanding contribution towards the Allied victory in the Second World War.
