Star Wars Death Star 1x 3D Printed Cannon Firing Pin.

*The part only comes in White. The blue one in the photo is the original part.

Fix your broken laser cannon with a 3D Printed Cannon Firing Pin.

**Please don't start bending it as the tip may snap off, just leave it alone and it will work fine and as intended.

These should last a long time. I have tested these over 50x with no failures and I did beef up the area where the original ones typically fail.

To install find the smallest flat head screwdriver you own and gently press one of the Chair Clip In Tabs inward while

pulling the whole chair assembly upwards to remove and access the firing pin. (See Photo #3.)

Please be very gentle with the prying as the clip in tabs are very fragile!

You barely need to move the tab in while lifting up!

*Please see photos...and please do not blame me if you crack the tabs...

Unscrew two screws and be careful not to lose the small plastic ratchet sound plate.

Before installing the new firing pin, push it into the assembly and spring until it locks. (See Photos #4 and #5.)

If you cannot lock it let me know and I will send you another longer pin.

Most will lock fine; I'm just being proactive in case yours does not lock....

Once locked do not unlock it as the spring and pin will shoot out with significant force.

If you want to test and unlock, please cover pin and spring with your hand. But testing is not necessary at this point.

Once locked together reassemble everything, do not forget to install the ratchet sound plate, and then test.

*You may need to slightly rotate the chair assembly to get the pin a good locking position.

**Note: The whole platform must be elevated as the firing pin protrudes past the bottom of the platform in the locked position.

Its best to just install the platform prior to testing...
