With domestic cats, Catnip is used as a recreational substance for pet cats'

 enjoyment.

Common behaviours cats display when they sense the bruised leaves or stems of

 catnip are rubbing on the plant, rolling on the ground, 

pawing at it, licking it, and chewing it. 

Consuming much of the plant is then followed by a period of drooling,

 sleepiness, anxiety, leaping about, and purring. 

How to use 

Catnip is cultivated as an ornamental plant for use in gardens.

 

It is also grown for its attractant qualities to house cats and butterflies.

Plant seeds in a small pot or tray and then plant the specimens 

directly into the garden or keep them in bigger pots.

You will receive approximately 30 fresh seeds. 

Pre-treatment of seed encourages better germination. 

Native seeds often respond well to smoke treatment, which also acts as a natural

 fungicide.

Smoke infused Vermiculite is a great potting media additive and is often
