Motorola SB6141 Docsis 3.0 Cable Modem, stop paying leasing fees.. Condition is "Used" but looks like new. it's even white and looks spotless. Shipped with USPS Priority Mail.

These are great, I'm using one myself as seen in the picture. They go by Arris or Motorola but are the same exact thing. Ever since I switched from the modem I had been leasing and paying the hidden tax for, the reliability has not only become rock solid but my download speed suddenly shocked me.

The routers that Xfinity in particular lease are designed with a back door they can use to take full control and throttle your speeds, they even open a back door allowing others to use your modem as a public hot spot which is not only sketchy and a security concern, but juggling a bunch of random people connecting to your router all day just because they so happen to pay the premium for that service would routinely slow my internet speeds to a crawl, or it would even just plain old crash.

Getting my own modem solved all my problems and the routine of "the things happening again" and having to restart it hasn't come up ever since.

I got a second one for my cousin but he actually had the kind with the land line so I'm selling this one. It works perfectly great, having been using the same model for almost a year now it hasn't giving me a single issue at all.

A very smart design choice was to add the keyhole slots on the sides allowing you to secure it on the wall with just a nail and some blue tac, or two nails. It's incredibly compact and unobtrusive and works flawlessly with my router, plus I've saved more than a hundred bucks already and lots of time and frustration that used to be routine.

I always offer lifetime support for anything, and went through the process of switching to my own modem so if you need help you can feel free to contact me.

To get it working simple call your ISP and simply let them know you are switching to your own modem. They have to let you, so just don't sound like you've never done it before. They'll ask for the Mac ID and and you'll hear their keyboard click then they'll say all done and suggest you restart the modem. Often it's not even necessary and will just hand shake immediately and work, but a reset is always good to do which is easy since this actually has a real off and in power button versus having to use a pin or roughly unplugging, waiting for 10 seconds and plugging it back in.

I recently began organising my items and so it's harder for me to find the miscellaneous stuff. I used to specialise in a/v but the audio shop I got my my stock from closed from covid and during the USPS shuffle I lost 2 items in a week which was pretty bad. I'm trying to organise everything better but have a lot of items to arrange and organise that are not a/v but are things I'm just basically selling to break even because I know many of these items are hard to find and so are needed, so I keep them in stock and pretty much break even if at all. So l thanks for understanding. My rating went from perfect to plummettijgntinthr 80s since covid which is disappointing and is due to mailing mix ups ie things teleporting from broken tracking and presuming it's lost before the item arrives then ebay has a hard time sorting it out.

Thanks!
