1993 Deering Ivanhoe 5-String Banjo in Excellent, Never Used Condition.

I commissioned the creation of this banjo in 1993 as a spectacular musical instrument and a masterpiece of great American art directly from the brilliant banjo maker, Greg Deering. As I recall at that time, Greg said there were only 10 other Ivanhoe Banjos in existence. This one is number 11 and the serial number is: 111993-2862.

Deering banjos are world renown as great playing musical instruments. This banjo is outstanding and flawless in every regard. The 24 Karat Gold plated engraving on the tonering is unbelievably beautiful. The burled Walnut woodwork and the Abalone and Pearl Inlay/Binding are all stunning. The neck is perfectly straight and there is no fret wear nor marks or scratches of any kind. 

This Deering Ivanhoe banjo has never been used and has been stored in a temperature controlled, no pet, no smoke household in its original hardshell case, which is also in excellent condition.
