This item is a pair of vintage, perhaps antique, wooden wall plaques. The wood looks to me like maple, possibly even birdseye maple, but I am not sure. You will have to judge for yourself from the photos. They are about 6" x 6". The wood portion is about 5/8" thick. They have a fancy edge treatment.  There are brass fruits with an interesting cutaway design inside a raised circle on both. I think the metal is all brass. One has a pear and a cutaway larger pear. The other has a cutaway peach and a smaller cutaway apple. Very  artfully made.  They both have a screw eye in the backs for hanging from a hook. They can also be hung from a nail head as I have done in two of my pictures. You could also change the hanging device to something else. There are remnants of one sticker on both and both also have a second old sticker with the following typed text: MCNUTT'S FURN. CO. SB4-PROV.
I have no idea who or where McNutt's Furniture Company is or was. I have search the internet to no avail. I also have no clue what the SB4-Prov. signifies. These are definitely older, if I were to guess I would say mid-20th-century 40's or 50's. But really have no idea. Nice condition. A really unusual and well-made set for you to enjoy.
