SUPER QUALITY SOLID SILVER GEORGIAN MUSTARD POT OR SAUCE POT GIVEN ITS SIZE BY HIGHLY COLLECTED & RENOWNED SILVERSMITH WHO IS,
CHARLES FOX 1st OUT OF LONDON AND HALLMARKED & DATED FOR LONDON 1836.
LOVELY CONDITION GIVEN ITS AGE.
This beautiful mustard measures 6.5 cm in diameter,stands 8 cm high not including the spoon and 8 cm at its widest and weighs a very healthy 150 grams in its entirety and being of a very good gauge of silver.
There are surface polishing and very minimal wear marks from its use,but certainly nothing that you wouldn't expect to see on a piece of this age and type along with general usage,remember its a very soft metal and highly polished surface so these general markings are inevitable,just remember it is 184 years old,it also has a crest of a lion holding a wreath to the front and spoon which we have pictured.
This lovely mustard should be classed as very good condition.
It also comes with full and easy to read set of hallmarks.
Lovely as part of a collection,or purely as a stand alone piece.
