SUPER QUALITY GEORGIAN 1779 SOLID SILVER CANDLE SNUFFERS AND TRAY BY HIGHLY COLLECTED & RENOWNED SILVERSMITHS WHO ARE, JOHN EMES & JOHN BARKER II
OUT OF LONDON AND HALLMARKED & DATED FOR LONDON 1779 & THE TRAY 1805.
WONDERFUL ANTIQUE CONDITION GIVEN THEIR AGE.
(Remember they are 241 years old).
This beautiful pair measures 24 cm by 11 cm for the tray and 16 cm in length for the snuffers and weigh a very healthy 267 grams.
There are polishing and very minimal wear marks from their use,but certainly nothing that you wouldn't expect to see on a pieces of this age and type along with general usage should still be classed as extremely good condition and highly collectable.
They also come with full and easy to read set of hallmarks.
Lovely as part of a collection,or purely as a stand alone pieces.
