Antique German Fairing Pig in a Purse Bank | Souvenir/Fond du Lac, Wis.

Fairings such as this were popular especially as souvenirs from carnivals, fair and other public venues in the latter part of the 1800s to the 1920s. The subject matter was often whimsical just as it is here - with an adorable pig poking his head and curly tail out of a purse. Measuring 4" long by 2" wide and 3" tall. It is marked Germany on the bottom and "Souvenir of Fond du Lac, Wis." on the side.

It is in good antique condition with wear to the gold at the top of purse and some of the gold lettering. There is a crack where someone removed coins and repaired it. Please review the photos closely and message me with any questions.
