This item is a scanned copy of the original, 48-page instruction and training manual for the Putney VCS-Mk3 that was put out by reseller Alfred Mayer of Ionic Industries here in New Jersey around 1973. It is titled, "Electronic Music for the Seventies"  and contains several chapters of instruction, many diagrams, plus 15 sample matrix patches that can be used for either the Putney VCS or EMS Synthi synthesizers. Al Mayer gave the original to me to use as a training tool when I was using a Synthi AKS in college.

What you get: All 48 pages are scanned from the original booklet (which is pictured with some sample pages) and reprinted on new 11" x 17" paper stock, folded and stapled to result in an 8 1/2" x 11" booklet to resemble the original. The cover is in color and the pages are b/w to reduce cost. Some pencil markups were made on specimen patches. See photos. This reproduction is sold 'as is' for educational purposes and no returns are accepted. The original catalog is not for sale.
