This is a fantastic Huge Military Road Jar, found in Clark County, Arkansas.
It dates between 800 AD - 1200 AD, the late Woodland to middle Mississippian periods.
It measures 8 1/4" tall x 7 3/4" in diameter & is made of fired, brownish red clay.
Graded as a G-9, with minor restoration.
This would make a great addition to any artifact or pottery collection.
