This is a replacement hatch / floor piece for the large Smuggler's hold in the 2008 Hasbro Legacy Collection Millennium Falcon. 

This hatch is made of high quality, flexible PLA filament, in a smooth, highly detailed print with no rough edges. The hatch has been carefully designed for a snug fit in the Falcon, so there is no fear of it coming open or dislodging during flight maneuvers. Printed in a dark grey to closely match the original, you can use it in your Falcon right away, with no further work on your end to prepare it. 

You can certainly paint it if you like. The paint of your choice should adhere easily to this surface. Customizers, this is the product you are looking for.
