This is an elegant little footstool, bought at an estate sale in County Wicklow (Ireland) in 1977.
It dates from 1780-1800.

It has a 4-tier design, carved legs and a veneer band of composite woods.

The top is 9 1/2" across. The next tier adds 1/2", the next adds 1/2", the next 1/8".
Full width is 11 3/8".
It has 4 legs, also tiered. They are 3 1/8" high.
Total height is 7".

This is not the original upholstery; this piece is from the late 40s-early 50s. It is machined.
The pattern is a dark green background with olive leaves and dusty pink and cream flowers, and shades of light green.

Condition issues are shown; it has the expected bumps and bruises but nothing major.
