One of the most outstanding carrier-based fighter planes of World War II was the Vought F4U Corsair. Despite this small plane only having one engine, it claimed to hit speeds of 400 mph. Unfortunately the large noses of these machines were considered easy targets due to high visibility especially during takeoffs and landings. The Corsair design was given to the US Marines where it showed its true colors when the Black Sheep Squadron used it in 1943.

The Omikron Pilot series watches share the names of these mid 20th century aircraft to remember them and the heroes who flew them. They have also been made with exclusive Swiss Leschot LM-196 super automatic caliber movements. The thick, polished stainless steel casing and screw down case back keep this watch water tight against splashes while protecting the opulent dial inside. Along with thick, luminous hands this timepiece features a pair of subsidiary dials that measure the date and a secondary timezone respectively. A beautiful genuine leather strap encompasses your wrist before being held steady with a stainless steel slip buckle that provides a more adjusted fit.
