Rhipsalis pilocarpa hairy-fruited wickerware cactus houseplants 5 x 3 to 4cm unrooted cuttings

Rhipsalis pilocarpa and more commonly known as the hairy-fruited wickerware cactus is a epiphytic plant meaning that in nature of this plant will attach itself to host plants without causing any detrimental effect to the host plant.

As the plant matures it will start producing branching stems with small white star shaped shaped flowers followed by little white berries. Rhipsalis are one of the most extensive genius of cacti. 

With this plant you need to avoid direct sunlight as this could cause scorching. As with all cacti it is important to provide very good quality drainage to avoid excess water which can lead to root rot.

You will be provided with 5 x 3 to 4cm unrooted cuttings. Simply let these dry for about a week and then they can be planted good quality free draining soil (we do sell our own soil mixture in our eBay store) with regards to the cuttings these just need a light misting every few days until they start producing roots. As soon as you notice new growth normal watering can resume.
