Haworthia Zebrina 'Zebra Cactus' with babies hardy shade tolerant succulent | 8cm pot

Haworthia Zebrina, more commonly known as the 'Zebra Cactus' is one of the hardiest houseplants that you can own. This plant thrives on neglect and will only need watering once every couple of weeks. Unlike other succulents these plants can tolerate more shade although they will need at least a few hours of light every day to get the best from the plants. These plants are quite architectural in appearance and do look great in a concrete plant pot on a windowsill especially in bathrooms or kitchens. They will prolifically produce pups at the base of the plants which can quite easily be propagated.

The plant gets its name from the unusual pattern and texture on the leaves which is very zebra like.

These are established plants grown in 8 cm pots which are ready for repotting on in 12 cm pots for best results.

These plants are producing props at the base of the plant and when they get to about a third of the size of the mother. They can be removed and potted on to grow more plants to give away to your friends and loved ones.
