What is a WEEE Reg. Number?

 

This is the Electrical and Electronic Equipment Act (ElektroG), which has been in force since 2005 

 

EU states but especially in the Federal Republic of Germany.

 

The law regulates the placing on the market, the taking back and the environmentally friendly disposal 

 

of hazardous substances and the handling of electronic waste.

 

To get a WEEE number. To be able to purchase, the safety of the devices must be proven. 

 

Therefore, all of our devices are TÜV and GS tested.

 

Unfortunately, this is not the case with 99.9% of low-cost providers.

 

If there is no WEEE reg. no. be specified, in such cases ask the seller to be on the safe side 

 

 

Options for returning old devices:

 

Owners of old devices from private households can hand them in at the collection points of the public waste disposal authorities or at the collection points set up by manufacturers or distributors in accordance with the ElektroG.
