Instructions :

Thank you for purchasing the Trampoline Repair Sewing Kit, fully assembled in Canada! This kit is for repairing rips and tears in trampoline mats no greater than the size of the patch provided.

Prepare for success!

Make sure your trampoline is assembled as normal with the trampoline mat stretched and all springs in place. It may be easier to sew the patch onto the mat with the safety netting out of the way.

Make sure the patch will completely cover the damaged area. Please allow for at least a 1/2 inch around the outside of the patch for sewing. If the patch is too big, you may want to trim it to size with a pair of scissors.

The needle needs to be passed through the trampoline mat from top to bottom. It might be easier to have a helper on the other side of the trampoline mat to push the needle through to the top. Otherwise you will have a lot of running to do to pass the needle through. If you don’t have anyone to help, try using some fabric glue to tack the patch in place while you sew.

Prepare the thread!

Don’t use all of the thread at once. Its much easier to work with smaller sections of about 3 feet (1 metre) at a time. Measure off 3 feet of thread and tie a knot or double knot at the end.

Ready, Set , Sew!

Now you're all ready to start sewing. Place the patch over the hole in the

trampoline mat. Push the needle through the patch and the trampoline mat. Make sure to pull all of the thread through until the thread is snug. No need to over tighten. Make sure the thread doesn't get tangled. If so, remove any loops or knots that may form.

Pass the needle through the patch and the trampoline mat. A "running stitch"

is the easiest. The pattern for a running stitch is :

DOWN - OVER - UP - OVER - DOWN

REPEAT until you have completed the outside circuit on the patch.

Leave a couple of inches of thread at the end so you can tie a knot or double knot. Try to get the knot as close to the fabric as you can. You don’t have to be perfect, just do the best you can. If more sewing is required, prepare another section of thread and continue. Trim up any loose threads.

And lastly, Test out the trampoline! Enjoy!

Well i hope this helps, if you have any questions please do not hesitate to ask!
