This is a replacement part to fit Defender models approx 1994-2001.

We build up fully assembled brand new doors and found the standard aftermarket offering to not be very good as a lot of other manufacturers items we tried would click as you wound up the window or be quite stiff in operation.

However we have had these made where they 2 rollers which slide in the guide on the regulator are on a sort of ball joint so they have a bit of movement back and forth. What this means is that as you wind the window up, any discrepencies in your window channel (what your glass slides in) doesnt effect the operation so these wind up very smoothly and easily.

The toothed wheel part on ours are also a lot better and do not click as you wind up
