PLANTING INSTRUCTIONS:

The hard covering of the seed is hard so that water may enter by simply putting them in soil and water. Instead to place in warm water and leave overnight until the case starts softening, then they will be ready to place in soil. Best in arid to subtropical area.

A second way, as advised from online info, says to get the seeds to germinate faster is to place them in boiling water. Add cold water to it, and drop the temperature. Soak these seeds for 24 hours. Sow these seeds in a pot, and place the pot in a warm place. The seeds germinate in four to six days.

EXTRA INFO:

Delonix regia is a species of flowering plant in the bean family Fabaceae, subfamily Caesalpinioideae native to Madagascar. It is noted for its fern-like leaves and flamboyant display of orange-red flowers over summer. In many tropical parts of the world it is grown as an ornamental tree and in English it is given the name royal poinciana, flamboyant, flame of the forest, or flame tree. They reach about 20 to 25 feet in height in about 10 years and live to their fullest for about 20 years.

When it rains the the water weighs the leaves in the branches that they reach down low almost looking like a weeping willow.
