Antique folding chair is solid wood frame with and carved wood back with round finals on each side. The wood is mahogany with a dark finish. The arms on each side are curved. The bottom has metal brackets and wood stretchers. To my knowledge the tapestry carpet upholstery with brass nails and tassels are original. 

 The antique tapestry back and seat is mostly maroon, green with a floral pattern with scrolls. The frame is sturdy and solid. The campaign chair is collapsible and the seat folds against the back from the front.

Measurements: Tallest point at middle back is 37 inches (each side 36 inches); widest point is 19 ½ inches; depth of seat is 15 ½ inches and the height of the seat is 15 ½ inches.
