The Runswick glass and steel balcony combination balcony by IRON OCTOPUS
GALVANISED & POWDER COATED FRAME AS STANDARD!
The Runswick balcony is very popular with our customers who require a simple wall mounted glass balcony.
The steel frame makes the Runswick a very versatile balcony with its simple mounting design. The top steel rail is made from 40mm x 12mm soft touch convex bar.
The remainder of the frame is made from 40mm x 40mm box section for the side posts and 40x8mm Flat for the bottom rail.
Mountings holes are laser cut at 12mm. These are designed to suit M10 fixings. The mountings are welded to the outer frame of the balcony. Hole centres are 50mm on the width of the frame.
For example a 1500mm frame will have hole centres at 1550mm horizontally.
The glass panel is held in place with four BZP (Bright Zinc Plated) steel glass mountings. These are fixed to pre-welded tabs on the frame, making installation simple. The glass panel is 10mm CE Certified Toughened Safety Glass.
The balcony is delivered as two separate parts for ease of installation.
The overall height of the balcony frame is 1100mm (1.1 Mtr) which meets the current UK building regulations. The glass is CE Certified 10mm Toughened Safety Glass which is clear
We recommend adding 300mm to your door opening size when choosing you balcony. For example if your door opening was 1200mm (120cm) you would choose a 1500mm (150cm) balcony size.

The balcony frame is available in a range of colours which can be chosen from the list above. With no additional charge.
We are a Guild of Master Craftsmen approved company. All of our balconies are fabricated in house by qualified welders here in our UK based workshop.
We also powder coat all of our products which assures quality from start to finish!

Lead time on our glass panels will be 7-10 Working Days
We send our glass panels direct from the factory to save you money. We will inform you of the delivery date by email. Please be aware that assistance needs to be present at your desired delivery address when the delivery is made to help off loading the glass panel. The delivery is made to kerbside. The glass units vary in weight based on the size of the glass. It's advisable to have at least two able people to help offload. Please make sure you provide us with a mobile ad landline contact telephone number when placing your order. We will contact you direct on the day of delivery to make you aware of the estimated time of arrival.
