RONALD SEARLE UNCIRCULATED POSTCARD VINTAGE "INEFFICIENT CAT CAPTURED BY AN ASTUTE GOLDFISH"  RAINBOW EYES  

This is an uncirculated, unused, blank reverse postcard.  The design is of a white and grey colored, long-haired cat with a startled expression on his face, who is captured by a yellow-gold colored  goldfish.  The caption on the card is, "Inefficient cat captured by an astute goldfish".  

The cat's eyes are painted in a rainbow design of red or orange, yellow, blue, violet or purple, and green.  The shiny reflection of the glossy paper makes it difficult to clearly photograph.   The card was printed with the signature of  Ronald Searle on the far-left bottom of the card front.  On the reverse is a price tag from the British Market for $.50.   At the bottom of the card is printed :

This is a very Good Vintage Condition item purchased at the British Market in Houston, TX in the 1980s.  There are no tears or marks.  The card measures approximately 5 3/4 inches long x approximately 4 1/8 inches wide, and weighs 0.1 ounces.
