This listing is for one Pontiac Fiero OEM headlight motor rebuild service for all 1984-1986 models, left or right side. If you need both left and right-side motors rebuilt, then you must select two (2) items. It is recommended that you have both sides rebuilt at the same time because if one motor has failed, the other is not far behind.
There is no aftermarket for these headlight motors and re-build-able core motors are getting very scarce. Rebuilding these motors is the only good option so please understand this before ordering.
You have 2 options to handle the core exchange for this item:
OPTION # 1 CORE EXCHANGE
Send in your core motor(s) to be rebuilt/remanufactured. Ship to: Stanley Miller, 56020 Farmington Drive, Middlebury, IN 46540. You will also receive a message after your purchase with instructions. This option does not require a core charge.
OPTION #2 REFUNDABLE CORE CHARGE DEPOSIT. THIS OPTION IS CURRENTLY UNAVAILABLE FOR RIGHT/PASSENGER SIDE DUE TO LOW AVAILABILITY OF CORES. SENDING IN YOUR EXISTING MOTORS TO BE REBUILT IS THE ONLY OPTION.
With this option you will receive an already rebuilt motor (specify left or right) or motors (left and right if you purchase two). This option requires an additional $65 per motor refundable core charge deposit billed separately. The core charge is fully refundable if you return your rebuildable core motor after replacing it with the reman motor. Send us a message through eBay messages with your email address to send the core charge invoice. The core charge is the only way to assure a constant supply of rebuildable motors for our friends in the Pontiac Fiero community and also keeps them out of our landfills. All headlight motors are completely disassembled, cleaned, and fully rebuilt to OEM specifications. Every motor is fully tested before shipment.

If you ever have a problem within the warranty period, you are welcome to contact me for instructions to send it back for repair or replacement.
This listing has a extended handling time to allow for customers to send in cores. If you use option #2 your order will usually ship within 3-5 business days after the deposit is paid.
LOOK HERE>>>>>>Would you prefer to upgrade your 84-86 (generation one) headlight motor system to the much more reliable 87-88 (generation two) system? I have a solution, but it will require that you send in your complete front 84-86 headlight wire harness for modifications. It will also require that you obtain a working headlight motor control module from a 1987-1989 Pontiac Fiero, Firebird or Sunbird or from an 88-96 Corvette and if possible, also get the control module connectors and wire pigtails. Message me for details.
