Luang Phor Withoon is a disciple of Abbot Lp Ajahn Jumnien, of the Wat Tham Seua (temple).
Image Details: This particular image of a meditating Buddha is presented enthroned on a seven layer altar, seated cross-legged in Vajrasana posture (soles pointed upwards), and with both hands overlapping one another in the 'Dhyana' mudra. The body is almost 'skeletal-like' probably unclothed, showing what appears to be his lean physique with ribs showing. The Buddha features a rounded face, without features, large elongated earlobes, and the head surmounted by a tall smooth ornament finial.
XXX The reverse shows the monks name - Luang Phor Withoon and the Temple Monks blessing.
xxxx Sculpted in the form of a seated image, The figure was primarily molded from terracotta clay, a special process produced in accordance with the Buddhist Scripture of mixing 'magic' Clay and Herbs - a highly valuable composition for making supernatural amulets. In addition, prior to the actual manufacturing of these sacred Amulets - magic letters and drawings are created according to ancient holy scriptures, established by master Buddhist Monks; along with extensive ceremonial prayer, practiced by the gathering of several temple monks, by which is said to enhance the power of the amulet with invincible and psychic powers. After production of the amulet - they are blessed and consecrated through infinte virtues and supreme meditative powers.
