*** This auction is for a PAIR of identical labels (even though just one is shown in the photo section), i.e. one for each side of the car ***

Replica Philips radio security window sticker as found on Rover vehicles in the 1980s and 1990s. E.g. Rover 200, 400, Coupe, Cabriolet, Tourer, 600, 800 among others.  Also found on numerous other makes of vehicles where Philips security coded radios were factory fitted.

Usually fitted on the front side windows of 3 and 4/5 door cars in the lower corner closest to the door handle.

These have not been available to buy for a long time, hence the need for a high quality replica.

Size 68mm by 44.5mm approx.

Every pixel of the artwork has been recreated from scratch so that everything that was a little poor about the original such as the width and spacing of the stripes making up the word "CODE" have been fixed and everything has a very obvious ultra-sharp 600dpi resolution.  Background has a full transition from maximum yellow through orange to maximum red so it's nice and bright.  All with the aim of making the sticker a more perfect version of the original.  Overall composition and sticker size are the same as the original.

Perfectly valid to fit to pretty much every Rover vehicle made in the 1980s and 1990s.

Hand made using UV and waterproof inks, on waterproof vinyl substrate and with genuine 3M automotive grade adhesive and peel-off carrier tape on the printed side.  The adhesive can withstand temperatures higher than anything found inside a car, and also withstands moisture up to and including complete submersion.

Adhesive on the front to allow fitting against the glass inside the car so the graphic shows outwards.

Please make sure your window glass is clean and dry on the inside before fitting, mainly because you don't want to trap dirt or any kind of mark between the glass and the sticker as it'll spoil the look for you.  Please also note the adhesive is extremely sticky.  The vinyl is **extremely** strong but because the adhesive layer is also extremely sticky, the vinyl will stretch under the pull force you need to apply to remove the sticker.  Be *very* careful with placement and take your time with fitting, possibly using a tape line underneath and alongside the fitting area so you can get them straight first time and horizontally positioned where you want them to be.  These really are super-hero stickers made to LAST and not FADE or CHIP or come UNSTUCK.  Don't confuse them with the mass-produced tissue-paper thin labels being sold elsewhere.

Finally, please note that the back of the sticker that shows into the car is just white.  The vinyl is not transparent or semi-transparent in any way.
