How many packs do I need for box braids?   For box braids we recommend 6 packs for a full head. To charge this hair, you need to leave it in good daylight ie. direct sunlight or under an artificial light (ie. semi near to a light bulb) or under a UV light. You will notice the hair glows like crazy when charged which will gradually fade.  You can continue to recharge if it gets duller. Can I use this hair to make synthetic dreadlocks? Absolutely!  It is suitable for making dreads which are completely glow in the dark or you could blend with another any other colour. Seal with a steamer for best results. Looking for inspiration?
