Smooth pulling and pushing back of the legs, lock swiftly.  Vent holes at the upper part of the tubes ensure efficient air in flow and exaust when pulling and pushing back the leg tubes in order to extend and fold the tripod swiftly and smoothly.   Quick action twist locks, only 1/4 turn to loosed or tighten swiftly and smoothly.  Silicone material provides better grip to avoid slipping.  Super-fit silicone lock grips do not slip even after long term submerging under water.
